Made Travel Plans to see Lauterbrunnen Valley, Colmar, and Paris, looking for suggestions for things to do!
Hi there! I'm currently on exchange in Europe, and my school semester is coming to an end. I wanted to end the year with one final, completely solo trip, and I think I narrowed it down to three cities. Now I have a rough plan for the cities I want to see most:
Apr 19 - 22: Lauterbrunnen Valley, Switzerland
April 23 - 25: Colmar, France
April 26 - May 2: Paris, France
Again, this is a rough plan, but I thought it would be a good mix of travel: two calmer cities to focus on the scenery and then a week in Paris to finish the trip with a bang. My question was if anyone had any tips, suggestions, etc. for the trip. I honestly just want to see a mountain in Switzerland, see the city Howl's Moving Castle was based off of, and see the Eiffel Tower and a specific bakery in Paris.
If anyone has any suggestions for any of the cities, I would love to hear them! I will say that I am a student on a budget of around $650-$750 (for travel, accommodation, and attractions), but I'm not interested in pub crawls or drinking activities beyond wine-tasting, I live for good food (I have a separate budget just for that alone!), and I'm OK just sitting outside or in a café and taking it all in.
