Las Vegas to Glacier
Hello all,
I'm planning my first road trip from mid-late May. The current plan is to fly into Las Vegas, rent a car, and then spend four or 5 days in Utah to hit the highlights there. Ideally Zion, Canyonlands, and Bryce Canyon. Then drive up I-15 through Salt Lake City and Idaho, veer right for Yellowstone and the Tetons (3-4 days), and continue up into Glacier for a couple days. I'll be renting a car and I assume then flying out of either Spokane or Bozeman.
I'm a student and have about $4500 I can get reimbursed, as I'm doing a research project on National Parks for my university. Everything else is out of pocket. I was thinking of going into Seattle and over to Mt. Rainier and Olympic National park for a few days as well. It would also save me some money on flights.
Anything along the way that experienced folks recommend? Does it look like I can do this all in 2-3 weeks? Any advice or warnings from people who have done a similar trip?
