Is it better to plan a road trip in advance?
My boyfriend and I are coming to the US for a road trip this summer are in disagreement over how much to plan beforehand.
We are staying for eight weeks but have a fairly packed list of things we'd like to do/see while we're there. We are very easy going and are planning on mostly camping or using air b&b for accommodation so no need to book hotels in advance.
I think that we will be able to get the most out of our limited time by planning the trip fairly accurately and sticking to a schedule, whereas he would prefer to just pick key places and not plan anything else so that we have more freedom.
We are starting and ending in Wisconsin and want to make it to these main places
-
Yellowstone
-
Grand Canyon
-
Yosemite
-
L.A
-
New Orleans
-
Orlando
-
Miami
-
Washington
-
New York
-
Boston
-
Niagara Falls
Also any recommendations of places to go would be great.
