Going to Seoul in June. What should i expect?
Hey all, I am currently on a 6 month student exchange program in Norway and before returning home, I'll be taking a brief detour in Asia to meet a friend in Hong Kong. However, that won't be until July first and thus i have 2 weeks to travel in a nearby country, so i figured Seoul would be an apt choice. It's also much much cheaper than Tokyo. Anyways, I'll be spending my time inbetween Seoul and Busan and I'm wondering what should i be expecting. Weather wise, sightseeing, etc. I figure as a tall blonde guy, I'm going to stand out a little, but i heard Koreans are really receptive to tourists? Asking this as i would probably be asking a few locals to take a photo of me, lol
Where have i traveled before: Norway, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Czech republic, Hungary, Malta, Italy, France, Finland, Spain
Length of stay: (June 16th - July 1st)
Budget. $1000 Aud. (I can go over if i must)
Climate. I'm going at the beginning of Summer, so i can only assume the weather will be quite warm. I'm however used to it as an Australian.
Anyways, any recommendations to what i should see? Or what i should be expecting and am i missing out on any other vital part of Korea. 2 weeks is a lot of time in one country
