Hi Guys,

This will be my second solo trip, i historically have done a lot of travelling through the military so the basic fears and scares that are generally associated with solo travelling for the first times, i'd say don't massively apply. However with that out of the way:

I'm looking for places to go, where i can meet new people and not feel like a weirdo for doing so. I'd also like some sights that aren't so massively known. On top of this, i'd love to know any small food restaurants that have absolutely divine food! I'm quite the foodie. I'm going to be staying pretty much smack bang in the middle of Florence in the Maxim Firenze, so travel links shouldn't be much of an issue.
