In June/July I'll have a big chunk of time off and am working on planning a trip to Russia (I study the language). However, given how much time I have off and having saved up the money, I was looking at spending a little bit of time somewhere else in Europe as part of the trip.

Are there any problems with booking, for example, a round trip ticket to Dublin from the US from June 5 to July 5, and then booking a Dublin-Moscow round trip "within" the US-Dublin tickets?... from, say, June 11 to June 30, leaving me some time on either end of traveling in Russia?
