1st Solo with $3,000 Delta credit that expires in July.
I was supposed to get married and it didn't work out at the last minute. I have ~$3,000 in Delta credit. Use-it-or-lose-it by July 2018.
This will be my first solo trip. Duration: any. Hopefully at least 3 nights.
I am flying out of Denver, very flexible on dates (before July, of course). I have plenty of vacation time as I did not go on the honeymoon or Christmas trip that was already planned. No real limitations as far as time off.
My first thought is something beachy because I'm in Denver and snow is possible through May. However, I am open to all suggestions, beach or no beach.
I noticed Delta has "vacation packages" where they sell you the flight + hotel with a car rental add-on possible.
Does anyone know of any reason why I couldn't use my credit for a vacation package with Delta? My wallet is still reeling from moving and all the expenses that come along with that. I could add a little $ but I know I also have to a pay flight change fee which I believe is $400. ($200 for each flight change. I have two credits.)
My last vacations were Mexico and Las Vegas. I'd prefer something else this time.
