I was just thinking back to a 2010 trip to the Middle East. I arrived in Beirut and crashed at a pretty cool (very cheap) hostel. There were roughly 25 of us sitting in a common room drinking beers and playing Connect-4. We all cheered on various nations till it came down to Syria vs Romania. The Syrian guy won and bought us all a round. I often wish the UN was like this. We all have the same common goals.. peace... fun... life... friends...

I've been all around the world, and this still stands out as the most greatest travel moment.

Just 25 people in a hostel, beers, Connect 4, No other agenda but to have fun.
