Hi,

I'm planning a roadtrip from Orlando to Denver some time in May for about two weeks.

I don't really plan to see anything until I'm in Colorado. Main places I want to go to are Pikes Peak, Great Sand Dunes and the Rocky Mountain National Park, as well as downtown Colorado Springs and Denver itself.

My main concern would be the route to Colorado. So far I plan to take the Interstate through Florida - Georgia - Tennessee - Kentucky - Missouri - Kansas - Colorado, and the same route back. My car that I would take is a 2010 Ford Focus 5-speed with just over 110k miles. As far as I can see on the service recommended I need to replace spark plugs. The front and rear struts were also recommended to be replaced since they're worn. Should I have all of the above changed before taking the road trip?
