Need ideas for adventurous solo travel in Scandinavia this spring (1 to 2 weeks)

I am attending an event in Amsterdam the first week of June, but want to do some traveling on my own before the event. As such, I don't want to be too far from Amsterdam, and having already spent time in most of western Europe I thought spending some in Norway and/or Sweden would be right up my ally!

I'm putting aside 1 to 2 weeks, as I'll be in amsterdam for 10 days afterward already. I am traveling from NYC.

I am open to all suggestions - cities, countryside, something adventurous (I am a certified diver and have hiked/camped all over). I'm open to bouncing around, but would entertain a more focused trip in one area as well.

I am most likely going to be by myself but I love meeting people, so anything that would allow me to do that would be great as well.
