Looking for advice for a National Park/hiking roadtrip
So I'm currently in the process of planning a 75+ day roadtrip for this upcoming summer. I live in Illinois and will be making a straight shot to Colorado and progressing west, hitting up every National Park in Colorado, Utah, and Nevada on the way to those in Cali. My return trip will start in NorCal and I'll be making my way back to Illinois while visiting Yellowstone/Grand Teton/Badlands on the way.
My original plan was to spend a few weeks in Colorado climbing 14ers first, but I'm beginning to be concerned that that won't allow me enough time to fully explore each National Park on the way. I understand that most NPs can be visited and seen pretty well in a span of 1-2 days, but my goal is also to have plenty of time to maintain a normal work out/eating schedule, do some backcountry hiking, etc. I'll be living out of my car, showering at local gyms, and camping out in tents/hammocks where I can.
If anyone happens to have some general thoughts or advice, I would really appreciate it!
