London Overnight Layover Tips
Hey r/solotravel, I am a first time solotraveller, and I have a trip to Europe coming up soon. Part of my flight itinerary involves a layover in London overnight. I fly in to London Heathrow at 6:30pm and I fly out of London City at 7:10am the next morning. Overnight layovers are new to me, but I figured that is enough time for me to check into a hostel/airbnb and then go out to a local pub to grab a beer and something small to eat. That's pretty much all I'm looking for. If anyone has any tips of where to go for accommodations or pubs that is closer to London City Airport that would be super helpful. I have never been to Europe before, and this will be the only time I'm in England for my trip.
For transportation, I figured I would take the train from Heathrow, and then find a taxi in the morning from the Hostel. Seeing as I've never been in the city before, I just want someone to double check to make sure my plan doesn't have holes in it.
