Kiev or Bucharest? Running the Half Marathon
Hi All,
I've been littering this subreddit with posts about my upcoming trip this summer. I will be just north of Milan visiting family until the 12th of May. I was originally going to stay longer, but the idea of running a half marathon in another country is very cool to me, so I looked up when some occurred. There is one in Kiev & one in Bucharest. My original plan after Milan was to go to Bucharest from 14th - 17th, then back to Brussels to get my flight back to the states the 18th.
Both half marathons are on the 13th, so I would like to arrive the 12th. This would put me in either place for 5 days total. Is this too much? What are some cool day trips that I could do? From Kiev, I could go to Chernobyl which would be awesome. Bucharest seems cool to me as well though. 23 year old American, enjoy partying. Pretty out going, not worried about meeting people or anything like that. Thoughts? Suggestions?
Edit: budget is a factor
