In Bangkok Now, I Need Day Trip Suggestions and Booking Advice Please! :)
I'm currently in the Terminal 21 area figuring out what to do for the rest of my stay in Thailand. I'm flying out to Thailand on March 13 to Cambodia out of Krabi.
So far I've done the JJ GREEN market, JT house, Benchasiri Mark, I think all the malls around Siam, red light district of Sukhumvit, and BACC.
Tomorrow I'm planning to check out the temples Wat Arun, Grand Palace and Wat Pho - following by a 2pm cooking class then KSR market to just see what the hype is all about that road.
Day after I'm thinking to do a floating market, but I'm not sure which one, how to get there and what else to combine with it.
So what day trips do you recommend that I do out of Bangkok? So far I have Ayuthaya and I have Erawan Falls, Kao Sok and Kao Yai National Parks. Not sure if they're really similar and not worth going to all/ can be combined with anything else.
What else is there to do here?
Also, VERY important - how do I book these? With whom? I'd like to have a tour guide if it's not a crazy sum of money to really appreciate what I'm looking at- but not absolutely necessary if it's enough to read wiki travel/lonely planet.
I'm not currently in a hostel, I've checked out and haven't booked one yet because I don't know where to go to be honest. Not sure if hostels would provide best rates. I'd appreciate some help.
(Would it help if I move closer to Hua Lumphong Station or KSR? Or stay in Sunkumvit around Asok station?)
