I'll be soloing for the first time in Europe for 2 months, here is my plan so far, please help critique it!
Hi all, so I am about to fly off to Europe in a few weeks and travel alone for a little over 2 months (70 days), then join a friend in Italy for 20 days. I'd say I am primarily interested in experiencing a country's culture, so think food, art, museums, historic monuments, breweries/vineyards/distilleries etc. While I might go out and party some nights, that isn't a priority at all.
Here is my plan so far:
Amsterdam 3 days —> Hamburg 2.5 days —> Berlin 3.5 days —> Warsaw 2.5 days —> Krakow 2.5 days —> Prague 3 days —> Dresden 2 days —> Weimar 2 days —> Rothenburg 1.5 days —> Heidelberg 1.5 days —> Munich 3.5 days —> Vienna 3.5 days —> Bratislava 2 days —> Budapest 3.5 days —> Belgrade 3 days —> Sighisoara 3.5 days —> Bucharest 2 days —> Sofia 2 days —>Tirana 2 days —> Dubrovnik 2.5 days —> Sarajevo 2.5 days —> Split 2 days —> Ljubljana 1.5 days —> Join friend in Italy for final 20ish days
Am I staying too long/short anywhere (I heard Bratislava is a bore after a day or two, and even Amsterdam could get boring after like 3-4 days)? Should I skip any of these places? Did I miss anywhere I really should be going? Are there any attractions/experiences I definitely should check out in the above locations?
