How would you guys go about planning a 20 day trip to Lefkada, Greece and Ios Greece?

Im thinking about spending 10 days on each Island.

I don't want to waste my time seeing historical, artistic etc stuff.

I want to Party and enjoy light blue beaches.

So I looked into my flight it will be 1k round trip from the US. But this is where it gets tricky. How would you guys go about arranging this ? ( i have the places booked but confused on the flights) Should I book a flight to Lefkada Airport spend time there for 10 days then a flight to mykonos and then a flight back to New york (home town)

Or should I make a round trip ticket from athens and use that as my base sort of. Take a bus to Lefkada, spend 7 days, then bus back to athens then ferry to IOS then fly out of athens back to new york ?
