First Solo Travel: Nepal Itinerary Help
So I'm heading to Nepal in two months for my first solo trip/ my first ever international trip. I think I've got a pretty good itinerary worked out, but wanted some advice.
Day 1
- Arrive in Kathmandu 8:00 PM
- Explore Kathmanud/ relax
Day 2
- Explore Kathmandu for the day
- Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple)
- Boudhanath Stupa
- Durbar Square
Day 3
- Bungy and Canyoning Day Trip
Day 4
- Catch a bus to Pokhara
- Leave Kathmandu approx 7:00 AM, arrive Pokhara approx 2:00 PM
Day 5
- Begin Poon Hill Trek
Day 6
- Poon Hill Trek Day 2
Day 7
- Poon Hill Trek Day 3
Day 8
- Poon Hill Trek Day 4
So this is where I need a bit of advice:
Day 9
- Paragliding in Pokhara
- Late bus to Kathmandu or flight
Day 10
- Nagarkot Day Trip
Day 11
- Bhaktapur Day Trip
Day 12
- Flight at 9:35 PM from Tribuvhan Intl Airport in Kathmandu
So I'm not sure if there is a later afternoon bus into Kathmandu from Pokhara. I will most likely have the money for a flight back, but I'd rather spend that elsewhere. If there's not a late bus, I can leave for Kathmandu the next morning instead too.
So if I got back to Kathmandu around 2 or 3ish, would I have enough time to go to Bhaktapur for the rest of the day or should I hang around Kathmandu? I don't really want to skip Bhaktapur or Nagarkot, but if you've been to either one I'd love to hear which one you think is the better option if it comes down to only having time for one trip.
