Backpacks for travelling that aren't made out of horrible scratchy plastic straps?
hey, so, i'm planning on travelling as soon as i've finished school, which will be end of June.
Anyway, to cut to the chase, I don't have a proper backpack to take all my stuff in, and I want to get one that does a really good job, is supportive, large, as comfortable (with as many waist straps as possible, i need all the help I can get :P) as possible and generally just a decent backpack, I don't mind investing a bit since i'll be travelling for a while. The only problem is that I have a weird OCD (actual ocd ) thing about textures, I can't stand the scratchy plastic textures on the shoulder straps of many many backpacks, (the one's with little holes in etc, uughgh) especially in the heat, and I will be travelling to a few hot countries so I really want to find one that has a softer texture, and preferably non-plastic such as linen, cotton, just something soft and not super synthetic, doesn't have to be special.
it's only really the straps i'm worried about so if the main backpack is made out of plastic that is totally fine. Sorry if this seems a bit vague or hard to understand, i't's not super easy to describe textures, but hopefully someone out there knows what i'm talking about and can help!
