I'm doing my fourth solo trip of Europe this summer (trying to get all the countries ticked off one day) and as a huge football fan am even more excited as my trip will coincide with the World Cup in Russia. I'm only in the early stages of booking tickets and destinations so I haven't confirmed if I'll be able to pull off sneaking a ticket to a match somewhere (and will probably skip Russia for now if I can't), but regardless I am really looking forward to visiting countries whose team are in the tournament and watching the games at bar(s) there. As a young Englishman I've only ever suffered doom and gloom during International tournaments, so should be refreshing to see some people actually enjoying it!!
