3 week trip to Paris > Vienna > Hallstatt > Munich > Berlin
I'm a 26F Canadian planning a trip to Paris, Austria, and Germany this June. The Paris and Vienna portions will be with a travel partner but I will be on my own for the rest. So far I have booked return flights to Paris, one-way flight from Paris to Vienna, and accommodation in Paris and Vienna. I am concerned about trying to pack too much into this trip and ending up feeling rushed. Let me know how this itinerary sounds, I'm open to changing destinations and length of time spend in each (except Paris and Vienna which have been booked).
Here's my tentative itinerary, any help is appreciated!
- June 1: arrive in Paris am
- June 2-4: Paris
- June 5: Paris to Vienna (arrive late afternoon)
- June 6-8: Vienna
- June 9: Vienna to Hallstatt (I'm thinking of taking the train to Salzburg, dropping off my luggage, then doing a day trip to Hallstatt and returning to Salzburg to sleep)
- June 10: Salzburg to Munich
- June 11-14: Munich (with day trips to Dachau and Neuschwanstein castle)
- June 15: train from Munich to Berlin
- June 16-19: Berlin
- June 20: Berlin to Paris (undecided if taking train or flying)
- June 21: flight home
