18, solo cross country trip
After high school I skipped a semester in college and drove solo around the United States, a big loop from Virginia to the Great Lakes, across through Yellowstone and all that, down the PCH, and back across through the Southwest and the south east back home. I did this back in September and it took me about 2 months, I traveled about 12,000 miles. Now that I’m back at school I just want to leave again and be gone traveling. I’m just reaching out wondering if anyone else here has done a similar route and wants to reminisce. Im wondering how people deal with the feeling of not “home sickness” but the opposite, I guess you could call it “on the road sickness”.
