14 week SE Asia, OZ and NZ
Hey everyone, please critique my rough itinerary below, my flights are booked and fixed I have 8 weeks in SE Asia then 2 weeks in Sydney and 3 weeks in NZ
I land on March 7
Arrive Bangkok stay for 2 nights
Bus to Siem Reap stay for 2 nights
Bus to Phnom Penh then train to Sihanoukville then ferry to koh rong sanloem stay for 3/4 nights
Train to kampot stay for 5 nights
Bus to Saigon, from Saigon to Hanoi I’m planning approx 2 weeks, my planned stops are dalat, nha Trang, Hoi An, da nang, Hanoi, ha long bay and back to Hanoi
Then flight into Laos as I hear the bus journey from Hanoi is awful, approx 10 days in Laos spread across Vientiane, vang vien and Luang Prabang before getting the slow boat to Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai for songkran for 4 nights then on to pai for 2 nights before taking train to Bangkok
From bangkok to krabi for 2 nights with Day trip to phi phi, then to koh Lanta for a 4 nights then on to koh Phangan for 4 nights for full moon, then 3 nights in koh Samui before heading back to Bangkok for flight to Sydney.
12 nights in Sydney
21 nights in New Zealand, 18 of which are on the kiwi experience
Would appreciate any feedback on if this sounds realistic thanks guys :)
