1 Month Solo In Europe, Need Suggestions
Hey guys! This summer I will be landing in Rome on June 19 and will be leaving from Rome on July 19. I'm traveling by myself, and know that I want to explore Italy and Switzerland for sure. I'm still trying to decide where else I should go, and was hoping to get some suggestions for that. Like everyone else, I want to explore as much as possible while not wasting a ton of time on traveling between places. I know I could definitely spend the whole month in just one place but I'm definitely trying to go to more than just 1 country.
Within Italy, I was mostly hoping to go to the Amalfi Coast, Rome, Venice, the Dolomites/Pragser Wildsee Area, and Milan. In Switzerland, I definitely want to hit up Zermatt, Wengen/Lauterbruennen Valley, and Zurich. I figured I would just start south and then take trains up north into Switzerland, but don't know where to go from there.
I also kind of want to go to London on July 14 to see Childish Gambino and NERD at Lovebox, but that's a lot farther north and I'd have to be back in Rome by the 19th (had to buy roundtrip flight for the cheap price). This is something I am willing to give up though.
Another thing I should note is that I'm not really into meeting tons of new people or going out at night and drinking with others. I will do it occasionally but its definitely one of my last priorities. I'm really into sightseeing and stuff even though it's really touristy, and really enjoy nature. I'm not super into museums, I will definitely hit up some of the big ones but I get sick of them quite quickly. Any suggestions on how long I should spend in certain places or where else I could go are appreciated!
