Yellowstone National Park Road Trip
Hey Everyone!
I've been reading a bit through this Subreddit and thought this might be a good place to a ask for some pro travel tips when traveling through Yellowstone and beyond.
So Firstly the Trip though Yellowstone is part of a grand USA tour over 7 weeks where on this leg of the journey we pick up an RV in Salt Lake (End of May) en route to Denver (by Mid June) via the Yellowstone Loop Road, and Rapid City.
There's a couple of Tips I'm looking for; - Camping, If we don't want to nail down our camping I know first come first serve can be full, if this is the case is it acceptable to pull up roadside for the night (I.E in a layby)? - Food, How much should we take? We anticipate we will be in the Park Boundary's for a week, are there any shops? - Fuel, Should I take Extra cans for the trip? - Finally and here's why I'm glad my missus doesn't use reddit, I'm actually looking for a really scenic spot to propose so any ideas? I'd like it to be a quite spot, so perhaps during a hike?
Thanks In Advance! :)
