Travelling to India/Nepal for two months starting the 16th of Feb. I only have the flight.
Hello there fellow travelers, I have been reading many posts here about the aforementioned locations and have done some homework myself, but I cannot decide between going towards the northern part of India or the southern. I will land in Mumbai the 16th of Feb.
I would love spend around 20 days in Nepal, so I would have a bit more than a month for India. If any one is so kind as to giving me some advice, it would help me a great deal:
I do not know what I am looking for with this trip, but whatever that is, I know its closer to spirituality than to anything else. I am not keen on any religion in particular, but I would love to feel the presence of Buddhism and Hinduism wherever I go. I am particularly fond of meditation, a small dream of mine is to find a place where to improve, and I cannot think of a better place than India :D. Finally, I want to connect with people as much as possible, I will try CouchSurfing or any other service you can recommend to submerge myself in the culture. Does india follow the general rule of having friendlier/opener people in the south? :D (hope no one is offended by this, I am from Spain and this rule applies, not only here, but in a couple of places I have visited).
Thank you very much for reading.
