Suitcase vs backpack
Last year I traveled with a small eBags backpack and a carry-on hard-sided suitcase. This year I traveled with an Osprey Farpoint 40 and a small daypack.
I honestly can't decide which one I prefer. The suitcase is definitely easier on your back, easier to pack, but can be a pain to roll around on uneven streets and sidewalks.
The backpack is easy to carry, but is hard on your back, and can be a pain to take off when getting on trains/buses. Often times I found myself wearing the small backpack and just carrying the large backpack like a duffle bag because of how much of a pain it is in the winter to remove.
What does your travel gear look like? Are you going to change it up or keep what you've got?
