Planning a trip in Europe for 2 weeks in July- where should I go?
Hello, long time lurker, first time posting. So this July I'm planning to take a 15 day trip interrailing in Europe, with 5 days worth of travel time. I've done a bit of solo travelling before and honestly haven't had a very good experience but I want to change that.
I'm 18F and live in London, so that's where I'll be starting. Obviously would prefer to go to places that are on the safer side for women because I'm not a very confident traveller and I'm young. I also have bad social anxiety and find it difficult to meet people so if anyone has suggestions for how to not get lonely, that would be great!
I have some places I would like to visit: - Germany ( a must) - Italy - Switzerland However I'm very flexible, since there's so much of Europe I haven't seen and I'm very open to lots of new countries. However, I do have some restrictions:
I don't want to spend a lot of time in France or the Netherlands, simply because I've been there every year for my whole life and I'm going there again with friends anyway.
I don't want to go anywhere that gets super hot like Spain or southern Italy, I'm not a huge fan of very hot weather.
I want places that don't take too long to travel between, unless I'm travelling on a sleeper train, since I do still have left over issues from a disability and long times spent sat on a train won't do me much good I think.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions or tips, it would be greatly appreciated!
