Timeframe: 1.5 weeks or so starting in late May 2018

Leaving Asheville, NC with a target of Montreal. On the way up I need to spend a day or two in Hudson. Need to head east from MTL to visit relatives in the Roxton Pond area, I can make that an overnight stay.

Route up: Thinking of 81 to 78, then 87 on up.

I usually fly up but this time I need to have a car as I'm hauling stuff back with me.

Ideas of what to stop and see/do on the way up? The return route can be different. Was thinking of hitting Niagra Falls as my navigator has never seen them before.
