Month long cross country road trip. February.
First off, I know it's going to be cold. I own a landscaping company and when the weather is nice I tend to work 10+ hour days. I have a good three months off every year when it is "cold" here in Florida. I know that the timing is not optimal, but somethings lined up and me and the wife have decided that it would be a good time for a road trip.
We do not have any real plans other than to see what we can of the country, and relax. We are not rich by any means, but feel like we have a decent budget to make this happen (roughly 1k a week.) Plan on staying south for most of the trip. I-10 West.
I came here asking for suggestions of sights and attractions you guys thought would be open, and interesting. We are open to pretty much anything. We have plans to stop/maybe camp at one of the International Dark Sky Parks to check out the views-we have always lived in citys.
I would appreciate any advice y'all have!
