Looking for something new for a few years. Where to?
Hey solotravel! Guess I am looking for some suggestions here.
I'm a 19 year old girl, born and raised outside of Toronto, Canada. Couple years ago I left to go live and study in Edinburgh. Freaking loved it, but unfortunately I've suffered some health problems during that time, and I'm going to have to start my degree over this fall. I'm having itchy feet again, and need something new to explore. I guess I'm looking for suggestions on where in the world I should go for the next few years?
Would need to have good study options, since that's important to me. I do prefer big city's, but it's extremely important that it's somewhere known to be fairly safe, as I'm a paranoid 19 year old girl on her own (though I do have a dog.. so not really "solo" travel :P). Language isn't a problem, since I love learning anyway. Want somewhere I will never get bored. Edinburgh was beautiful and I don't regret it for a second, but it's not somewhere I could stay for long. Would also be awesome if it's easy to travel to other places from there. Open to literally everywhere in the world. I'll be spending the next few months in Laos, so I've got some time to decide, though sooner is better since I need to do uni apps.
Anyway, any advice/suggestions?
