How much money do you keep aside to "fall back on" once your done traveling?
Sorry if that wording doesn't make sense. I know it's different for everyone and depends on various circumstances, but how much would you leave saved for when you return back to home, assuming you'll have no job?
I'm hoping to travel for at least 3 weeks this year, and I'm thinking that returning with $4,000 would be enough to get back on my feet and stay afloat for at least a couple months (I'd live with my parents at first, but want enough money aside to be able to move out). What do you think, how much do you typically leave saved?
