US trip in July 2018 - would love some input into my itinerary

I'm heading to the US from Melbourne, Australia in July and would like some input on my itinerary. My whole trip revolves around Comic-Con because I managed to score badges. Any ideas/tips would be awesome

11-17 July. Arrive at 6am into LA. Knott's Berry Farm Hotel seems cheap or should I stay closer to downtown?

Activities: Disneyland, Disneyland Adventure Park, Universal Studios, Knotts Berry Farm, Six Flags, Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach (a day for each). I know it will be the middle of summer break, but since I'll be alone I would get through the lines for rides quicker, right??

18-22 July. Train to San Diego. Managed to book a hostel in Gaslamp Quarter.

Activities: Comic-Con (only got Thurs/Fri/Sun), baseball game (Saturday), Gaslamp Quarter, San Diego Zoo (Saturday) - or would there be Comic-Con events I could go to outside of the convention centre on Saturday?

23-27 July. Unsure if I should drive or catch a Greyhound to Las Vegas. I want to stay at Bellagio Hotel.

Activities: Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, a show of some sort, gambling, Freemont

28 July. Drive through Death Valley and stay overnight somewhere. Not sure if there's anything interesting to see? Is it safe/smart to drive solo through here?

29 July. Drive through Yosemite National Park. Is it safe/smart to drive solo through here?

29 July-2 August. Will probably just use Public Transport around SF. Unsure where to stay.

Activities: Alcatraz, Fisherman's Wharf, AT&T Park game and tour. Is there anything else worth seeing/doing? San Fran is my relaxed part of this whole trip

3 August. Early flight back to LA for 11pm flight to Australia.

Activities: If I catch an early flight would I have time to do anything? Maybe Griffith Observatory? Hollywood sign?

My budget for accommodation is preferably less than AUD$200 a night for LA and San Fran and a private room. Any suggestions on hotels considering what I want to do? I've only booked a hostel in San Diego because prices are crazy during Comic Con. I'm also budgeting AUD$5000 spending money (about $100-ish a day), not sure if that would be enough.

Cheers!
