Travel insurance and 'existing' medical issues (dental)
Hi,
I wonder if anyone knows if you have a tooth that has sometimes caused discomfort in the past, that suddenly blows up on holiday (infected, headaches) is that considered a pre existing issue?
As I have mentioned it to my dentist, any company could ring up and ask, right ? and they'd accuse me of fraud if I said it was not pre existing?
I'll just be honest I absolutely can't afford to pay a dentist over seas, and the only reason I don't have insurance is I was too sick, too tired and stressed to arrange it in time. I do take responsibility for that, but I wanted to know what is the likelihood of being able to get insurance whilst I'm away, or be treated for this issue?
