Europe backpacking travel itinerary feedback
Hi everybody!
I am going on a 28-day solo backpacking trip in Europe from April to May 2018. I am planning my general route for the trip. I understand that many experienced travelers suggest at least spending 3-5 days in one city, but I'm not planning to make this a "relaxing" trip. I do want to see as much as I can and hit the main spots. Please give me some honest feedback about my planned route. If enough people convince me to chill and not go so many places... I am open to changing it up for myself as I have so much time to decide. If you have suggestions for places I should considering adding/removing, please go ahead and let me know.
London - 2.5 days
Brussels - 1 day
Bruges - 1 day
Amsterdam - 3 days
Hamburg - 1 day
Berlin - 2 days
Krakow/Prague/Budapest - around 7 days total... not sure how many days I want to spend in each because I haven't done my research... I also want to make this portion of the trip less structured so I can be a bit more spontaneous. I am also considering cutting out Krakow because I really just want to visit the Auschwitz museum nearby... Please provide suggestions about what I should do!
Florence/Pisa - 1 day
La Spezia-->Cinque Terre - 2.5 days (I really want to hike here it seems gorgeous)
Rome - 2 days? OR should I skip Florence/Pisa/Rome entirely and come back another time in the future to enjoy touristy Italy with family/friends?
Paris - 4.5 days with day trip to Versailles
