Am I being too entitled? Working holiday visa.
In Queenstown right now and been here about 2 weeks. I've been trying to get a job but haven't had any luck in getting something. There plenty of jobs goings in bars, cafes and shops however I don't want to do that kind of work. I was depressed (still am a bit) several years ago the only work I could get was bar work which I hated, so I just don't think I could do that sort od woek again without becoming ill again.
I've tried to get jobs related to traveling in some way, hostel jobs, travel shops, tour work etc. Had a few interviews but nothing has come back.
I'm moving elsewhere but don't think I'll have much luck.
Am I being too selfish in not wanting that kind of work? Loads of people here are working hard, serving me drinks amd food etc. I've just turned 29 and just want meaning in my life and the work I do.
