Working (solo) in Jordan and need holiday travel plans. Israel? Prague? Help appreciated!
I am working in Amman, Jordan until June 2018 and am in need of some holiday travel plans. I'm a single 28 year old male. I'm fairly well-traveled internationally but I've never traveled solo nor around the holidays. Bumming around my apartment in Amman over Christmas/New Years is simply not an option.
This is my first time in the Middle East, and I've always wanted to visit Israel, but I'm not sure if Christmas/News Years is an ideal time to do so or not. I have also considered somewhere in Central or Eastern Europe but, again, other than a long weekend in Prague a couple years back I have no experience with traveling in that region (Poland is high on my list to visit, but I'm not sure if Christmas is the ideal time or not). I have also considered reaching out to my relatives in Sweden, but a.) I'd feel awkward essentially inviting myself over for the holidays and b.) I'd prefer to travel somewhere completely new.
Any advice or guidance would be hugely appreciated!
