Hi just a bit of background, I am 18 and this is will be my second solo trip.

I was hoping to stay in Hong Kong from 26th dec-1st jan and then i was planning to go to somewhere else in south east asia from jan 1st - jan 9th. I was looking at singapore and kuala lumpur but looking at past weather at the time of the year it tends to be cloudy and even though its hot I would much prefer going somewhere that wasn't cloudy and still hot. Any places that fit these criteria or any other suggestions for this trip would be much appreciated.
