[Item Suggestions] NYC Trip Dec. 7-11
Hello All!!
I've been on this subred for 2 years now (created new account this week) and am very fond of this community! I'm looking for something specifically.
I originate from Los Angeles & will be travelling to NYC Dec 7-11. Given this, I am a little unsure of what to pack in terms of additional items for the weather. Like what type of gloves, socks, shoes, coats, parka, base layers, or which/whatever more. I don't have much experience with dressing in wet/snowy/dry weather below 50
I plan to check out the nightlife and meet others comfortably and not stand out like a sore thumb. Want to be prepared in the sense that I don't look like baymax from big hero 6 walking around in a thick parka if it's not needed. But also don't want to be stupid and come with something lightweight.
Plenty of walking will take place, eating outside sometimes, relaxing at the parks, etc. So staying dry and warm is a must.
I travel during summer and am good with that. But traveling during winter time is what gets me. So this community's input is greatly appreciated!
By the way if anyone is around during that time, I will be staying at the Local NYC and open to meeting up at a recommended or new place together!
