Hello everyone!

I graduate in December and start my new job at the end of February so I have some time to travel!

My girlfriend and I already have a trip planned to southeast asia (Vietnam ane Thailand) over Christmas/New Years but when she goes back to school in January I will have several weeks to do some solo traveling.

Ive been toying with the idea of hopping off the plane during our layover in Japan on the way home (from the US) and spend a few weeks there but I figured I would hear what all of you would do if you were in my shoes!

I have roughly $3000-4000 saved I am willing to spend and between 4-6 weeks. Id prefer to stay in asia since I will already be in the region but other than that all I know is I want to experience traveling on my own, learning about new cultures, meeting new people, and seeing awesome things!

How do you guys think I should spend this time and money?

Should I just go with the flow and see where the wind takes me?

Im open to anything! What would you do?
