How do you handle/ keep strong relationships with the people you meet over seas ?
this might not be the right sub for this but I'll give it a go
I would love to hear some similar stories if any of you have some. :)
So today was my fist time back in Paris after 7 months. I went to see my French friend. I met her in Ireland a year ago. Nothing happened just partied and fun in Ireland. Next time was traveling through Europe this May. Was like fuck it I'm Freiburg I'm so close to Paris why not go see my friend.
Went to Paris to see her out of the blue she was surprised happy. the night we met up alcohol got invloed we end up making out and having a romantic time.
This time my flight to New Zealand was cheapest to go through Paris. I fly out tomorrow ( yes I know was an excuse to go see her lol) we meet up have some smoothies catch up. Nothing really romantic happens just two friends talking didn't even bring up last time. We did promise to try and keep in contact more Skype ext.. and maybe plan a trip together in the further. + she wants to work on her English lol.
but I guess my question is, as a person that has never really been in a "relationship" - (longest was was a year) is this how they start ? haha its been so long for me. Sometimes I feel as if I'm chasing her.
And how do you all who have people you are involved with over seas make it work ? is it hard ? Do you go see them a lot.
its harder for since she works and the time and still live at home and I just Travel a lot :p
