[F/21] First solo trip to Europe - Itinerary help/Advice please!
Hi! I'm a 21yo female from Mexico City travelling to Europe for the first two weeks of December. I just started planning since the opportunity of taking the trip just came up... It'll be my first time in Europe and my first time travelling solo.
I'm interested in museums, art, theatre and good food. I'd really love going out at night but staying safe is my priority so if its better not to, i'm okay with that.
I'd say i'm an introvert at first and a bit shy when it comes to starting a chat with others but i'm really open to meeting new people.
So far i've come up with the following itinerary:
6-9 Dec - London 9-10 Bruges (A friend told me that i could just make a day stop here, walk around and then take the train to Amsterdam so i'm still deciding if i'll stay for a night or not) 10-13 Amsterdam 13-18 Paris 18-20 Barcelona 20-22 Madrid
I'd love it if you could suggest if its better to stay in hostels/hotel or airbnb in each city And if you have any places that i MUST visit during my stay in every place. I'll also take suggestions in regards to the itinerary, the only condition is that i have to travel by train and have to end my trip in Madrid... In regards of transportation i plan on travelling between countries exclusively by train with a Eurail "Benelux-France-Spain" ticket and in every city i'll probably take the bus/underground to get around
As for luggage I'm planning on bringing a large fjallraven backpack and a 22' inch wheeled bag. My concern here is staying in a place where i'll be able to leave my luggage and that it'll be safe.
Also: If any of you will be travelling during those days and would like to meet i'm 100% in.
