I did some searching of the subreddit, but mostly found suggestions for warm places. I am quitting teaching at the end of December and want to maybe take a week or two to travel by myself. I like cold, snow, wind, blizzards, etc. I am not interested in beaches, warmth, sunshine, shorts weather. Where is an excellent place to travel that time of year? Would prefer to spend majority of my time sightseeing nature and activities of that type. Also on a mild-budget. Places gorgeous with snow a bonus. I will be traveling from Colorado, USA. Late twenties female.
