Alone in Rome
Hey guys,
Finally decided to embark on my first solo trip. I spent a long time researching the best place to go, before I saw a great deal on a 4 day trip to Rome with the flight leaving the very next morning, so I jumped on it and here I am.
My experience is kind of hit and miss. There’s elements of travelling alone that I’m enjoying, particularly the pacing of my day along with the option to stop whenever and whenever I please.
However it can get every so slightly lonely, I find that a lot of the landmarks I’ve seen so far would be even more incredible if I could share the moment with somebody. I’m in no way done with solo travel though, perhaps a this is a learning curve I need to go through.
Also - is anybody in Rome currently that might want to meet up for some food or wine? Let me know!
