3 weeks in Cuba (Xmas + NYE)
Hi everyone,
I'd been looking for affordable flights to LatAm around the holiday season and ended up going for Cuba.
I'm arriving in Havana on the 17th of December and leaving on the 5th. After booking I realised that internet access may be a bit of an issue, which is how I usually meet up with other travellers or use to deal with the occasional loneliness by chatting to friends.
I'm just starting to plan my trip, but at this point I figured I'd find out the following things from the community:

Any other redditors in Cuba around that time?

How is the internet situation nowadays? Is it still just a matter of hanging out at public hotspots? How is internet access in smaller towns?

How's public life around Xmas? Will shops be open? Will I find some place / something to eat?

Tips for where to go for New Year's Eve are very welcome too :)

I'm very into music and would love to meet some local musicians: particularly producers who are also into electronic stuff... How / where? Any ideas?
