Speedy planning a 2 week trip & Lonely Planet books
Hi all! (22F/US)
I'm right on the edge of booking tickets to Singapore, Japan, and South Korea for 2 weeks, but I have just done some preliminary research. How difficult is it to plan a trip to these places in a week? Everything is so last minute because I got a job offer to start in Dec and I want to take advantage of the time in between to travel, but make it back in time for Thanksgiving.
I'm Singaporean, but living in the US, so not much planning needed for the SG leg, but I am thinking of buying the Lonely Planet books for SK and JP so I don't have to do as much gathering of information. Have they been helpful to you? If so, which books should I get, there are so many for JP for example.
EDIT: Lonely planet pocket guide or city?
(I'm thinking of doing Seoul and Tokyo for 3-4 days each)
THANKS!!
