Reliable websites for dangerous animal information?
I'm currently in south-east China and am planning to travel around China's rural areas as well as to Taiwan, Vietnam and Cambodia, at least. I'm struggling to find any reliable information online about where certain snakes and spiders are found around this part of the world. None of what I have found gives great detail about which parts of which countries certain species are found. I suspected it would be easier than it has been to find online, as I imagine it would be in any easily accessible go-to encyclopedia for any outdoor adventurer (I had one in South Africa which had everything; which species live in which parts of SA, how dangerous those animals are, their latin names, pictures etc.).
My last post here asked what I should look out for in these parts and people essentially said "nothing but mosquitoes", although a simple google search contradicts that (numerous venomous snakes some extremely venomous and some dangerous spiders and scorpions), but I can't find any specifics. I just like to know what to watch out for wherever I may be... Thanks!
