Looking for an insurance provider for trekking in Nepal
Need to offer air ambulance.
World Nomads is a no go due to strict and ridiculously expensive policy - I must be trekking with the guide, air evac needs to be pre-approved prior to evacuation (right, because there's cell reception all over Himalayas), and on top of that it ends up being 250 dollars, or 500 for two people, which is insane.
EDIT. Decided to go to TuGo insurance. 1/2 the price, and no pre-approval for air evac in a back country situation.
