I don't have a lot of stipulations other than I want to travel somewhere in Asia that I haven't been and I only have 9 days total. Over the past year I've been to southern Thailand, Philippines, and Hong Kong.

Looking for good food, historical sites, and a decent nightlife. I basically described anywhere in Asia! Price isn't something that will really hold me back. I'm just looking for feedback on everybody's favorite part of their favorite country.

So far, I've narrowed it down to Vietnam (Hanoi -> Ho Chi Minh), Tokyo, or Beijing -> Shanghai. I'm totally open to other places as well, but these are just currently at the top of my list.

I realize I haven't provided much information, so I apologize for not being more specific. I hope that my limited time there will help someone narrow down their recommendations and provide me with insight I didn't previously know.
