Konrad's Travel Hack Thursday - How to Find Cheap Flights
The Hack only a handful know about, I came up with it because I listened to a conversation at the travel agency I worked at. The airline rep mentioned that different countries display different prices for the same flights. This is because of competition between airlines and also the population of the countries. E.g. Asia has lots of airlines and even more people than Australia. So to make sure they get as many sales as possible, they lower their prices in Asia and not in Australia. So buying tickets in different countries is awesome, but you are not going to fly to another country to check out cheap prices. That's where a vpn like hola.org come into play. you download it onto chrome. once downloaded, check out the normal prices you would get if you searched from your home. This is so that you can compare the prices. Then click on the Hola Icon in your browser and change the place you are browsing from to the country you are flying to. E.g. Flying to Singpore. Browse from Singapore. Compare the prices you got and maybe you saved some cash. If that didn't work, change hola to another big country in the region. I decided to share my travel hacks that I got while working as a travel agent and through my years of experience because it makes me smile when people write to me telling me they saved money because of my help.
