It's my very last day at work, and I'm flipping out. [Pre trip jitters]
Flipping out in sort of a good way. I've been working here for 5 years, Im losing all my comfort zones, my family, friends, and girlfriend are being super supportive, but I'm not sure I've made the right decision. I have no idea what I've got myself into...
Please share advice, I don't officially leave on the trip for another month, so this month is all just wrapping up my prep, working on a few old Volkswagens, and convincing my girlfriend I'll be back.
How fo you handle these stresses? I'm supper worried about my initial long ass flight over there, dealing with foreign currencies and languages, making all your bus and travel plans while on the trip, privacy, loss of comforts I've gotten quote used to...
I've done alot of travel, but usually in places like national parks, bear country, ect. And I'll tell you right now, I'm more scared of bangkok than any grizzly I've ever met face to face (up to around 12).
I leave the 14th of November, from the usa to bangkok. Then I have a plan to head north, over to laos, where I will follow the mekong to cambodia, then over to vietnam for a northbound experience.
Any advice, stories, motivational quotes you use to handle the pre trip jitters would be great.
